I can only advise you to be careful - I have a Canon MF4370dn, which is an all in one fax, networked laser printer, photocopier. In theory it is networkable - and I CAN print over the network using my PC laptop and my Mac desktop, but the problem is when the printer is in 'energy save mode' (like almost all the time) neither computer sees it on the network. This means I have to run down to my basement and turn it off and on again every time I want to print something.
I use a HP 1522. I have it running from the router and allow the desktop and laptop access. I also don't use powersave, if I know I am not using the printer it is off. I get up and turn it on as needed. That powersave is a friggin dose.
I have a brother MFC 7840w It is wireless and has been in use since Dec. It will serve all your needs as far as a mid level printer goes. I'm very happy with it and would put one of these in my home for sure bro
