Hey everyone, I apologise if this is in the incorrect section of the forums.
I am a 19 year old male, weighing about 212lbs and I am 5'11". My primary goal is losing body fat around my stomach area and generally all over my body. How should I go about doing this? I typically do 1 hour of cardio on a AMT machine which results in 600-700cals burned, and I like to switch it up with HIIT training too. I also do weight training but I am not seeing the best results. What are some really effective exercises to do in the gym to build bigger arms and chest? I have played rugby for years so my legs are pretty toned.
Also, I read that to lose weight I should consume 0.8grams of protein per lbs of body weight, is this a correct number? How many calories should i consume in a day? I work 9 hour shifts mon-fri and right now im consuming about 2000 calories per day.
