It’s not like I didn’t known it was coming. Years of training have to catch up one day. I am pretty bummed however; I was 7 days away from my fall 16 week mass cycle of Test /Dec and thought I better get my shoulders checked out first as they have been causing me some abnormal issues of late. Well, long story short, they are in desperate need of rehabilitation, a stringent flexibility routine coupled with a strengthening routing has been prescribed for 2-3months. I was well on my way to "frozen shoulders" and I have to lay off the chest, shoulders and upper back /traps, but was given some simple maintenance exercises.
I was thinking that for so many years I have been able to “work through” nagging aches and pains, one has to wonder when we become sensible enough to seek professional opinion to help in our diagnosis and quality of life. The good news is I think in a month or two I can be back in the game, can start my cycle and continue to train and do what I love to do. The life lesson is to seek the help of medical professionals sooner than later. We seem to have no trouble doing in other professions. We need legal help we see a lawyer, we need financial help we see an accountant; we have health and body issue, hell we can work through it right?
