    Default Cutting water weight

So I'm 3 weeks out and am holding a ton of water and a little fat but not a large amount. I'm thinking about taking Ultra-Strength Taraxatone Extreme or MHP Xpel to drop the water weight. I was hoping that I could get some advice on wich I should get and how do I use a product like this? I know that it dehydrates you and all but how much water should I be taking in, how far out from the show should I start it?

    Thank you for the help

how do you know its water and not fat....by a couple weeks out your body tends to not even know how to hold onto water if your lean enough.

Assuming it is water (been in your position and unfortunatly it was not water, LOL ) those OTC diuretics will do the trick. I heard the XPel by MHP was one of the better natural diuretics out there. There is also dandelion root if you prefer the natural way. In any event someone else is gonna have to chime in on there expierences using the natural diuretics because all i have used is the dandelion root for 3 days b4 pre judging.

Not sure if you will get a full response because final week prep, cutting water is a science and needs to be hit right or you will either spill over or lose fullness.

My best advice to you is either hire someone from here for last week help or keep EVERYTHING the same. Yes everything. Ride into the show lean as can be no sodium, water, anything changes. Even carbing up dont worry about. At least u no you will look as you do now and not screw up your work for the last x amount of months.

I hate to say it but I think/know you are right. I have had to pull out from 2 other show in the past because I could not get lean enough, and I have a bad feeling I will fall victom again. I do have a trainer and he told me fat does not look like what I got and I was holding a lot of water. I dont think I'm ready for my first show but he seems to think I will do fine. Im just stressing 24/7 anxiety all day and it is killing me.

you need a new trainer IMO. Seems like this one is not keeping it real. Post up some pictures. I am sure we can tell you if its fat or water. You don't want a trainer that tells you something so that your don't stress out. If stressing out will keep your diet in line, than that is what you need. However, you may have simply not dieted soon enough. I still wouldn't pull out of the show just because you may not be bang on (unless you really are WAY off). You can at least learn from it...What show is it?

I'm doing the Max Muscle Washington Ironman natural. And I think that I still am about 5 weeks out but I only have 3. I could always do this one show that would give me those added weeks but it would not be a tested show.

I was sitting about 15lbs heavier than I am right now. I figured a lot of it was water. Some of it was, but a lot of it was fat. Now I'm about 7-8% and like Steve_D said, when you're lean enough your body won't really hold water. (To some degree of course). I'll pig out for 3 days straight now, and still can't even tell I'm holding water.
