Hey Guys,

I really should have posted this before. Tomorrow, Saturday June 23rd, the local Strongmen are organising a competition in Gatineau, it's only 5$ to attend. Come check it out.

I started training with these guys and really like it. My goal is to get ready and try my hand at competing next season.

I convinced the family to go there with me, as our outdoor activity of the day, but arrived there saw it was host all inside, so it was a no-no as they didn't want to stay inside with a beautiful day like that.

Thanks for coming out. We did the first 3 events: Farmers Walk, Super Yoke and Press Medley inside and the Atlas Stones outside in the shade.

I don't know why Marty didn't do the whole show outside. I will have to ask him. I think most people prefer outside events but it's harder on the guys if they are in direct sunlight.

All around a good event, lots of guys came out and put in a lot of effort. It was cool to see the weights being a bit lower and giving new strongman a chance to compete.
