I snapped a pic of the bottle I have here. Looks like natural and artificial sweeteners, coco powder, xantham gum, guar gum, and Sucralose.

I can vouch for the iso-90. When we were sponsored was a great source. Wish they had strawberry flavor. Overall though, I think better off cost effective with a whey concentrate protein. I've never bought into the hype of ISO vs. Concentrate. Might be a bit better, but is it worth the extra coin?

Pick a flavor that you like, mixes the way YOU like, (depending on what you mix in, juice, water, milk, etc)... Also pick one that makes the consistency you like as well (ex - in a blender, with fruit, etc). Personally none of the ISOLATE proteins have the correct texture to make the best blended shakes... However, on the go, the Isolates can sometimes mix the easiest.

I completely agree with your steve_d; we have always suggested a whey blend over a straight Whey Isolate. The added benefits from the Whey Isolate rarely justify the additional costs. Unless you are looking for a super fast absorbing protein with literally zero carbs and fats; I would suggest a whey blend. The grams of carbs and fats will get burned off fairly quickly if your training hard.

Unless you are lactose intolerant. This is why I only go with Isolate.

True! But not all Whey Isolates are 100% Lactose Free. Most are "lactose reduced" or "low lactose"

I only know of 1 that is 100% Lactose Free:

    Dymatize ISO100

    do you know anymore?

A true isolate will contain very low lactose levels, not enough to cause discomfort. If it still has lactose to cause discomfort, then it's not 'isolated'.

Most isolate I have tried are ok with me, but ONE shake of whey concentrate will throw me in the bathroom for a while. I can know pretty fast when there is lactose in it, I'm pretty sensitive.

Agreed! I think this is why sampling before buying is always recommended. Every body is different, and everyone will react differently to each product. When you find a protein / brand that you like, doesn't upset your stomach, and you see results from; stick with it.
