    Default supps for tendon healing

    p,

    what are some good supps for tendon healing after a full rupture?

    I was told

    Protein: 1.5 grams per kg of body weight
    • Great Lakes Collagen Hydrolysate: four tablespoons daily, mixed with fluid
    • Buffered vitamin C: 2,000mg twice a day, as tolerated
    • chicken soup or other source of bone broth


    what about gh therapy for tendon repair? (would this be safe for females who are trying to get pregnant later on?)

    All that may help minutely but its not going to make a significant difference. IGF-1 and HGH do help but again they arent magic and you still need time to recover and allow healing. GH does not have negative sides with regards to pregnancy when compared to androgenic hormones. The best advice is proper nutrition, rest, sleep and time. Arnica in the early stages may help.
