I'm pretty computer illiterette so any help is greatly appreciated.
Lately my computer has been ****ing up on a regular basis, it all started with it freezing and sometimes shutting down because of a "bad pool caller" whatever that is? So I removed a recently installed program, and the freezing/bad pool caller errors stopped......... But....... Now my internet is constantly messing up, kicking me off, and my PS3 is not connecting to the net at all.
The computer diagnostics, and the PS3 error codes, are saying its an issue with the server or DNS error.
Power cycling the router and modem will usually establish a connection for the computer, but not the PS3.
I called my ISP, and they ran a check and said everything is fine on their end? The windows diagnostics said its a problem that can't be resolved automatically, and to contact the ISP......
And I don't know if this means anything, but the other day I was a on a forum and one of the members had one of those things that displays your IP address and service provider. The service provider it listed for me was some company named cable co-op...... theres no ISP with that name near me at all.
Any chance I've been hacked?
