I wish I was smarter back when I used to do triathlons and cycling etc. I'd sweat out so many minerals, and have no clue why I was cramping at the end of the race. I didn't need water, I didn't need gatorade, or a banana, or powerbar...All I needed was some sodium and I probbaly would have rarely had issues with not finishing races at the front of the back due to having to pedal with 1 leg with major muscle cramps seizing up my quads/calfs.
