Default For old schoolers, I have only seen 2 people in the world do this exercise, I want to know the name please

Hello everyone, I can recall an old school exercise I have seen only 2 people in the world do, I have seen my step father perform it and then another old school bodybuilder at the gym did a few set, never thought asking about that specific exercise, I would like to find the name, if you know or recall the following description please answer....It was what I consider an unconventional exercise for us younger generation, most likely more popular with the old school, but seems to build thick back for sure, working shoulders and upper back.

Starting stance is kind of a half to 3/4 squat, torso bent over parallel to the floor, obviously keeping lower back muscle tighten and back straight ( like deadlift) throughout the entire exercise to avoid injury. Then pretty much pick up a heavy dumbbell from the floor with both hands squeezed, overlapping fingers, and pulling it up from floor level to behind the head or pass the head level, keeping the elbow slightly flexed at about 10-20 degree, doing raise motion from floor level to overhead, not dropping the dumbbell keeping it squeezed in between the hands and doing a raise/ lifting motion using only shoulders rotation and upper back.

Think of the straight arms cable pull down movement, for lats, but inverted, the weight being squeezed in between your hands and lifted/raised behind you.

Would be awesome to have someone, possibly from the old school, pin point that exercise precisely, know it and explain the benefit or bad effect of it and effectiveness, targeted muscles, etc.

I assume the effectiveness of this exercise is maximum, my stepfather has massive traps and back well developed as well as the other old schooler I have seen.

PS my stepdad speaks French and would not know the name in English neither do I, even duh am bilingual cant find the technical words to name that exercise....Bent over inverted straight arm raise?!? Rear shoulder raise?!? Shrugs #5?!? Nah I prefer being schooled by the old school!
