I think the site is still young and need to evolve a bit. Not everyone is into forums and some static information would help like training section with routines and info. Gym reviews would be good. The only problem, it takes a lot of hours to maintain a site like that.

I figure he posted it here because it's the most viewed forum. Alright I will answer this question on an owners point of view.

First off, there will be a lot happening in the future. The software will change dramatically and I put everything on hold till it does as I need to see what it has to offer before I start adding all the sections like articles, training routines etc. I hate to do stuff like that in a forum style as it'll get lost fast. But if the new version of the software doesn't allow me to do it, I will get an addon to get it done. It interests me very much.

    As for helping CBB grow....

Your mouth is probably one of the best ways. Invite people. Friends on other sites, blogs, twitter whatever. Let Canadians know we're here. Lot's don't know.

Become active participating members. Ask questions, reply to others, submit articles, thoughts etc. People are actually intersted in what others are doing and progress or feedback. Twitter is all about that, facebook is not far behind.

Become a member of our facebook group. It's in my sig. Invite other Canadian Bodybuilders to it.

Help me and the mods keep this site running smooth and clean. I get members who report posts that break the rules or spam and it really helps me keep the site clean. Thanks for those who do that and keep up the good work.

Get a t-shirt when I get them done.

This one is important - Post links everywhere you can on the net that links to CBB. That will help us in the long run. Don't do it just 1 time. Whenever you get an opportunity, post up a link back here. If someone writes a good article here, post it up on another site and link back to us. The laws of the copyright on the net state that you must provide a link back to the original source to avoid any lawsuits unless the site specifically requests that no reproduction in any form is allowed elsewhere. If that isn't there, you can repost on another site as long as you provide a linkback. Of course, sigs always help if allowed on other forums. Just don't break any rules of the forum you are on.

And last but not least, follow the rules of CBB. They are there to keep us all safe and have this site online forever.

This is currently almost complete. The coming soon banner is none other than me. It's a pretty large project I've been working on that required a lot of time and $$. I got into this whole thing of online forums at first for help and then to help. I realized how unorganized the business aspect of Canadian Bodybuilding is and want to help. The biggest difference with CBB and almost every other forum out there is it's not a site designed just to make money. If that was it, I'd boot all the sponsors out and start selling my own supplements and whatever to make money. But I want to help others in this industry. I concentrate on building the forum and recruiting members and keeping everything fair while they pay a little fee to help me out and keep things going. There is more coming and it's going to benefit everyone. Stay loyal to me and my sites and in return, I'll give you the place that you will get all the information possible about bodybuilding in Canada.

What about creating some sort of wiki system for writing articles that everyone can peer edit? I work for a very large software company and this is how we share information within the company.

Truthfully as a Canadian earlier on i had no idea of this website, and many of my Canadian friends do not know about it, though this site is fantastic. Time to spread the good word
