I am a member of http://www.thinkfreeforums.org as well, lots of good stuff to be found there concerning the law.
Notice the policeman's oath doesn't mention anything about busting people for using drugs? They are supposed to keep the peace and protect people from damage to their person or property. How does using gear or recreational drugs for that matter hurt anyone?
