    Default Cycling creatine

do you cycle creatine... if so, what is the ratio of time on to time off?

is it necessary to cycle creatine?

there was a thread on this a while ago,
    http://www.canadabodybuilding.com/fo...creatine+cycle

the verdict on creatine cycling isn't out but available findings indicate that the effects of Cr supplementation may decrease during prolonged supplementation (2–3 months)(Derave et al., 2003, Eijnde et al., 2003, Olsen et al., 2006). Therefore, it might be an option to interrupt 2–3 month periods of daily creatine intake with washout episodes of about 4–5 weeks to restore the responsiveness of muscle to creatine supplementation (Vandenberghe et al., 1997).

I see no point in cycling creatine. Say creatine will bring your performance to X level. Will cycling it bring it higher than said X level? No. You use it, you get the benefits from it, when you stop it, it takes about 2 weeks for the performance enhancing effects to go away. So you think you`re feeling the rush from it beause you lost what you had in the first place... I`ve done the cycling thing before and only out of $$$ circumstances when the stuff was not as cheap as it is today. Plus when you go back on you get those shit blasts...

Creatine is so inexpensive now that unless you were on a real tight budget then maybe I`d consider it. Hell some people even give you a free pound of it now if you buy their supps...
If consumer magazine claims to know what consumers want, how come they`re still a magazine?

I dont cycle it but will switch types evey so often just to try something diff. was on kre-alk all summer then switched back to some mono that I had sitting around and now Im using Con-cret which I will stay on for a few month to see how effective it is.

I think so far size on is my fav for bulking but a bit on the expensive side.
