Today is Day 1 for my prep for the Northrens in Alberta. This will be my first bodybuilding show so I am pretty nervous already. I was sitting at 223 pounds this morning before I ate my first meal. I am sitting around 18% bf.
Training today was my legs. I only did a 5 min cardio warm up on the bike. I wont be starting hardcore cardio until my trainer tells me other wise. I am also coming back from a 2 week break from training so my strength is very low right now.
Monday Legs
Stiff legged dead Lifts 4x(8-12) 195 maxed for 10 reps
High step ups 2 foot platform 4xmax
Squats 2 x (10-12) 2 x (12-15) 2x(15-20) maxed 225
Leg curls 4x (12-15)75lbs per leg
Alt lunges 4x(20) used body weight for now.
Single leg press 6x(10-15) maxed 4 plates a side.
Calf presses on horizontal press 3x(50) maxed at 250lbs
