13% looks ABOUT right... Doesnt much matter though, as long as you look the way you want to look. If you're going to compete again, I can't imagine you having a problem with a 16 week diet getting you fully shredded.

You look great for taking a whole year off! I think you have better genetics than you realize.

Upper body looks 13-14% bf, legs look more like 8-9%. I agree you look like you could be ready for a show in about 16 weeks or so and you have better genetics than you think if you look like that without training for a year.
If it's not hard it's not worth doing...

Well you ve been back training for 8 mths after taking that yr off and you have basically everything back that muscle memory will give ya. show ready in 10 weeks IMO not 16 (although you would still do a 16 weeker to prep). anyways, just saying u look pretty jacked for a phatkid lol ). anyways, just saying u look pretty jacked for a phatkid lol

^ totally agreed. I took 6 months off the gym when my son was born. I even went back into cycling doing a good 300km per week biking to and from work. Lost 20 pounds on the scale, most of which being glycogen in the muscle, etc. I basically looked like a totally different person. Started training, and within 3 months I was out squating, benching, and deadlifting my previous personal best. For example, day 1 went from not being able to bench 195 for more than 6 reps to doing 315 for 8.

3 months after that I caught and passed my previous weight. Top it off, all of this was drug free. Muscle memory is an awesome thing! NOW, I only took 6 months off, another 6 might have set me back even more...but I'd say most people can recover from 1 year off totally to back at 100% in under a year.

BTW - I'll agree with everyone on you're bf%. Some people weren't as lean as that 8 weeks out from nationals, who will be diced on stage. It's all about how comfortable you are in dropping fast, or slow. I personally like being leaner for longer, rather than go crazy at the last minute. I say go for it.

i agrree with rrrollla, the leaner i got, the more i think gentetics arent all that bad.... legs are small.. but being diced would be preferred anyway....
friggers, if i thought i could...i was kickin the idea of doin the londons...13wk away, but think i will try and add alittle, without puffing up and look towards the O'brien classic nxt May...
