I heard Kobe Bryant had some sort of "improved" PRP shot this offseason in his ankle... Anyone know what it's called or anything about it?
So how long did it actually take for you to fully heal ?

My case is a bit complicated - I had microfracture surgery on my knee, which is essentially done in order to try to re-grow new cartilage. It typically takes a full year to recover from the surgery, which is how long it took me.

However, the PRP was given in hopes of improving the QUALITY of the new cartilage. And I can't say it helped in this respect. Hope this makes sense.

Additionally, talking with other people who saw my surgeon (who was giving me the PRP shots), they had some really good results with tendonitis type issues & PRP.

OK. I am awaiting a MRI on my knee and I'm guessing it's going to be a lack of cartilage issue. I have no pain at all , full ROM but the knee feels as though it's weak and may buckle at any time. I hope I just injured it but I can't really recall when I may have done it. If it's injured I may use GH for the rehab process.I also have terrible tendonitis in my right bicep/elbow. I may look into PRP for that. Thanks.
