What is the starting age for the masters men? Is it 40 or 35? I see on the website for bcabba that women's masters bodybuilding is 35. Is men's masters bodybuilding still 40 or at 35 can you do masters category?

In BC masters men is 40 prior to show date...nationally 40 in the calendar year of the show so technically at 39 and turning 40 after nats you can still be masters

Generally it's 40 and why it's 35 for the gals makes no sense to me as women are IMO just hitting their stride at 35 and most don't even come close to peaking until they're in their mid to late 40s.
