IPL World Powerlifting championships in Vegas
Anyone here going to this one? I will be competing in the 181 open class.
I am wearing single ply gear, but will be competing in the multiply class as i want to use the monolift. If I compete in single ply I have to walk it out. (dumb).
Anyway, the plan is:
700 squat ( Titan Centurion squat suit)
400 bench (Titan Katana bench shirt)
550 Deadlift (Inzer Z-suit)
Current meet PR's
640 squat
380 bench
515 deadlift
those are good #'s.....whats your progression gonna be like for them??
the plan right now is:
650/680/700
350/380/400
500/530/550
nice! 700 squat would be a killer pr!!!!!
I was there, we hung out it was a fun time.
The judges were looking for squats that were 2" below parallel. A lot of people bombed out.
Chalk: Use it. If your gym doesn’t allow it, sneak it in. This is one of the most important things for your strength and safety, so be wary of gyms that don’t allow it. They don’t want you to be safe or strong.
