Default Active Release Technique - ART

Some of you have nagging injuries that don't seem to heal? Often it can be a buildup of scar tissue that causes the pain. This technique has helped a lot of us here. It is painful, but it works.

Here is Dennis Wolf getting some done in case you want to know what it looks like.

    Kobe Beef.

I see rolfing and a little art. His shoulder mobility is pretty badly screwed. Tendinosis in his forearms. Brutal trigger points in his calves He has great genetics for muscle but he has completely ignored anything to do with athleticism. He should be doing a shit ton of mobility work and it looks like he's hoping a massage therapist is a cure.

He's got so much meat on him that trying to do deep massage on himself might be a tough row to hoe but he could definitely be rolling out on a baseball/softball and using bands for traction on a daily basis to get himself back to half-assed normal ranges of movement.

He's going to be a stiff old man if he keeps ignoring the mobility part of the equation.

I started ART after I had a second degree tear of my hamstring a few years ago. I walked into the clinic on crutches and six weeks later was squatting 315 , doing hacks with 6oolbs. Also used it for my elbow and shoulder. Hurts like a bugger.

The level of pain is proportional to the level of restriction!
