    Default nutrient timing after cardio?

i know best is to split cardio and weights , but currently doing cardio post weights in the evening due to work timing. i usually just have a shake on the drive home and eat a meal with protein/carbs.

when i used to do cardio in am, i would wait 30 mins and just have a meal. and weights in the evening i would have my whey/carb/creatine drink right away.

question is can i keep having the whey/carb/creatine drink post cardio or would the negate the afterburn effect of cardio?

    thx

Depends on what diet you are using and what your goals are. Are you trying to gain or lose? If fat loss is primary concern then I would suggest having any carb intra workout not post. The goal being to use the carbs for energy and utilize bodyfat for energy post training.
