1. says to take with meal, but i read many ways some saying like 15 mins before a meal, any right way to take them?

2. what if the meal has fats in it, like steak and potatoes is it useless than?

Slightly before is ok. No a GDA will still assist with glucose disposal even if fats are present. I have tried them and have never really seen much benefit.
