I hear good things about mr.hyde from some bodybuilders I know. Has a ton of caffeine tho, too much for me

Most pre workouts are just a tonne of stimulants ie caffeine and/or ephedra...cant stand that shit...not to mention the havoc it will wreak on your adrenals.

What I'm using for pre-workout is about 4-500ml of cold coffee from the morning, a scoop of whey, half a scoop of maltodextrin and beta-alanine!
And during training, 2-300 ml of coffee, 1 scoop of whey, half a scoop of maltodextrin and creatine (+ water).
Simple, cheap and does the job. I don't drink coffee in the morning, neither on off days.
