Default WORK -barely time to work out

This is a short kept rant, but I somehow have to blow it out.

I am articling right now.. towards a CA... whoever knows what I am talking about probably heard that it is challenging.

I am about a year in, at least another to go.. and I am so busy that I havent been able to work out consistently for at least 3-4 months.
Yes, I work out.. squeeze in 45 minutes at 11 PM..try to maintain..but my life is soo damm busy by now that I am not even able to maintain. Dropped a good 15 pounds since I started there and the last 6 weeks have been so crazy that i havent even touched weights... working + studying easily 60 + more like 70 per week. come home at midnight.. most of my food is take out...

I can accept that I do not have much time for pussy.. going out.. but that I am loosing what I have worked for over the last 7 years.
    thats bugging me.,
I love my job.. and I am good at it... and it will secure my future very soon...but I feel that the workload alloacted to me is so crusching that even 70 hour weeks dont cut it.. leaving me fruswtrated that I can not even find aN HOUR to work out a day.

Anyways, my new goal is to leave everyday at 9.30 pm and go work out and work after from home if needed... I can not live with loosing anymore of my work.

Thanks for listening.. its 2.19 AM on a Sunday morning and I just came from work... so I might be a bit bitter.

Stop worrying about working out....there will be plenty of time for that once you have finished articling and are a CA. The you can optimize everything and have the financial means to make extraordinary gains. For now put all you effort into completing the CA task at hand...when you have a solid career you will be in a better position than most and be able to take advantage of many things most cannot....you wont lose much in the next few months...nothing you cannot gain back real quick.

This is solid, solid advice......, Not many, if any of us are going to make cash doing this....It is a hobby at best......Get your career sorted out and then set-up a routine for yourself... All that cortisol from stressing wont help much.....Good luck on your CA...

I can emphathize. I will be going to university full-time and working full-time soon. I'm already worried about it because like many on here its a big part of how I define myself for right and wrong. When I don't lift I feel like something is missing.

Anyways, my plan is to simply maintain by doing a push/ pull once a week and legs once a week on saturday and sunday when I won't be working all day. If I get a chance for a third workout it will consist of just deadlifts, cleans, clean and jerk and sumo high pulls with some pushups in between these sets on a tuesday or wedneday. Basically just stand in front of a bar for an hour. lol 3 workouts a week for an hour each. Thats doable.

I won't get any stronger but think I can still get bigger and in better shape by keeping rest to a minumum in that hour.

Career always comes first over looking good. As P said once you have a solid career in front of you it affords you other luxuries to having a good quality of life.

There are a few on this board that could stand to realize this now instead of when they're broke, with nothing to show for it other than a couple trophies or pictures.
I lost 20 pounds...How? I drank bear piss and took up fencing. How the **** you think, son? I exercised.

Look on the bright side of things, when you actually get to be CA, girls will be flocking left and right just when mentioning your profession.
